WORCESTERSHIRE Virtue Empire Dodgeball Club won the Midland under 16s tournament in Cannock.
They started off slowly with a 6-4 loss to MDL All-stars but defeated Black Country Knights 10-0.
During the second round, they defeated MDL All-stars 8-2 and Black Country Knights 10-0.
They tied 5-5 with MDL All-stars in the final round and defeated Black Country Knights 10-0.
The club’s under 13s finished fifth out of eight teams despite five of the six players only joining a few months ago.
They lost 10-0 to Cooper and Jordan’s first team and 8-2 to MDL All-stars first team.
But Worcestershire then won 6-4 against MDA and 6-0 against MDL All-stars second team.
Virtue Empire have clubs in Worcester, Droitwich, Bewdley and Kidderminster for all ages.
