THERE were several familiar names among the prize money in Bransford seniors’ January stableford.
Played off the white tees and in tough conditions, Gerry Rebbeck (15 handicap) led the way in Division One on 38 points, just two ahead of Roy Burston (12) on 36.
Andrew Jarvis (23) just pipped Ken Jones (22) in Division Two by a point with 31.
Brian Taylor (24) won Division Three with 34, four ahead of his nearest challenger.
In Division One Bob McGrath (19) scored 32, Graham Wilks (17) 32, Lee Dyment (18) 30 and Phil Spencer (19) 29.
Charlie Hawkridge (23) managed 28, Roy Mayo (23) 28, John Phillips (22) 26 and Alan Wallcroft (21) 26 in Division Two.
Roger Steade (27) scored 30, Peter Harrison (24) 28, Steve Littlewood (28) 25, Allen Rowberry (27) 25 and Rob Lawrence (25) 24 in Division Three.
There was a tight finish in the main club’s monthly stableford with just four points covering the top nine in Division One.
Mark Tipton (10) just edged out Alex Laughlan (10) after both got 38.
Steve Thompson (10) managed 36, Nathan Normoyle (11) 36, Jonathan Hunt (11) 35, Gordon Jack (9) 35 and Marcus Moss (6) 35.
James Rimell (19) had a Division Two winning total of 41, two ahead of Sean Jones (18).
Steve Bourne (14) scored 38, Alan Rimell 36, Kyle Moss (27) 36, Steve Freeman-Taylor (16) 36 and Jason Keane (19) 36.
