THE McDonald’s Worcester and District Football League's Baylis Cup quarter-finals saw a double success for Division One teams against top-flight opposition.

Bedwardine beat Falcons 4-1 with goals from Rich Lawrence, Tom Hobbs, Shane Wade and Todd Richardson.

Sporting Worcester went through 2-0 against Northside thanks to Zaqib Hussain and Aaron Marston.

The two clubs now meet in the semi-finals alongside an all-Premier Division clash between Hallow and Perrywood.

A nine-goal thriller at Upton Snodsbury saw Hallow go through 5-4 with Tyler Attwood (2), Wes Joyce, Tim Beattie and Ben Harborne scoring.

Hallow's Richard Bray, the league’s most successful current manager, will hope his side can lift the cup for the third season running.

Perrywood beat The Bell @ Pensax 4-2 through Anthony Burton (2), Garry Price and Ant Layton.

Worcester Athletic's Adam Whitehead netted eight in his side’s 9-1 demolition of Ale Madrid in the Kilbourne Kay Cup.

In the Southam Trophy, Dan Harding-Hall hit a hat-trick for St Johns who beat Colwall St James 3-2.

Curtis Williams and Rich Morse bagged braces for Malvern Rangers who defeated Perrywood Reserves 4-2.

In the semi-finals, Rangers will meet Arrow with St Johns hosting Clifton Rovers.

Claines were 2-0 down against Colwall Village in the Katherine Rayer Cup before a 90th-minute header from keeper Josh Wheeler sent the match into extra-time.

Then Claines went through 4-3 in the penalty shoot-out with Wheeler making two saves.

The Bernard Finnegan Cup quarter-finals saw a 7-3 win for Kempsey United at St Johns Colts.

Mark Thomas cracked a treble and Kieron Hawkes a double with Joe Bates notching a hat-trick for Colts.

In the semi-finals they play Droitwich Athletic who beat Malvern Vale 4-2 with Steve Keay grabbing all four goals.

The other semi will be between Eaton Rovers and Worcester Lynx.

Paul Jones scored twice in Rovers' 4-0 stroll at Powick, while Jon Vinall and Luke Bailey bagged braces as Lynx crushed Brewers Athletic 6-1.

Russ Carlin gave The Bull Inn a 1-0 victory over Droitwich Spa Eagles Reserves in the Phipps Cup and they will meet Grosvenor Sports or Riley’s Sports in the semi-finals.

In the Premier Division, The Gloster Arms thrashed Worcester Saints 11-2 as Ed Lyons netted four, Jack Preece a treble and Harry Wicket a double.

Division One leaders Drakes Broughton Rangers won 3-0 at Worcester City Wanderers with Joe Barrett scoring twice.

Joe Haines also bagged two in Virgin Athletic’s 4-1 win at Hallow Village.

Prince of Wales have a one-point lead at the top of Division Two after a 5-0 victory at Hornets through Rik Halion, Luke Whittington, Ashley Banner, Dan Parsons and Andy Cornes.

Clifton are close with Josh Stafford and Alex Cope on target in a 2-1 home win over Korono.

Arrow maintained their challenge with a Jordan Stoddart double giving them a 2-0 victory over Pershore Town Eagles.

VBL Sports strengthened their position as Division Three leaders as Martin Fowler notched a brace in a 3-1 win over New Inn Saints.

Malvern Radar Youth, in their first season in the league, celebrated a maiden victory at the 15th attempt with a 6-3 success at Worcester Saints Reserves.

Kieran Smith and Adam Buckley both scored twice.
