THE big Easter Monday run was the Cheer 5 at The Cob House Country Park and Mayfly Cafe, Wichenford.
Organised by Steve Jones and Lee Brighton from Black Pear Joggers this was the fourth Cheer 5, presenting a challenging multi-terrain run for all abilities.
First home for Malvern Joggers was Jon Newey in fourth in 31 minutes 38 seconds followed by Nic Dauncey in 13th in 36.18, Steve Roode in 40.37, Andy Cambell in 43.07, Mike Anstey in 48.07 and Lynda Broadway in 48.54.
On Easter Sunday was the Hanham Horror, a well-organised and marshalled race by Bitton Road Runners from The Swan Inn at Hanham, Gloucestershire.
Joggers' Julie Caseley finished the 5.5-mile course in a time of 51.51.
