EVESHAM United boss Paul Collicutt has vowed to ring the changes for tomorrow's home clash with Barnstaple Town (3pm).

The Robins had their wings clipped in a 2-1 defeat to Wimborne Town on Sunday with Collicutt quick to emphasise how far below par his side had been.

New strikers Lewis Powell and Ethan Moore showed promise after coming on in the 63rd minute of that clash and could come into contention for starts as United look to bounce back.

Matt Bennett and Jordan Bryan are unavailable, while ex-Cheltenham Town youngster Jordan Lymn has joined Midland League Westfields on loan. Leroy Odeiro comes into the squad.

"There will be some changes to the starting XI," said Collicutt. "We're not sure how many just yet, the lads will find out on the day.

"At training on Tuesday we focused on the fact we had too many players off colour against Wimborne. You cannot afford to carry six, seven or eight players, you're going to lose against anyone when that happens at this level.

"We set our standards during pre-season but did not match those against Wimborne. It was our first defeat at home in the league and the lads certainly know how I felt about it.

"We have to move on now and move on quickly. Hopefully, we will get the reaction we're after."

Despite last week's setback, Collicutt insists he is close to finalising the squad he desires at the Jubilee Stadium.

"I am not far away from what I want," he added. "Perhaps we're missing the odd one or two but we have strengthened up top and have some competition for places around the park now.

"Every game is going to be tough in this league, we know that. We didn't help ourselves last week, we have to turn up."
