HEREFORD FC thrashed Redditch United 5-2 in the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division with four of the goals coming in the first half.

John Mills sealed the win seven minutes from time after Pablo Haysham scored twice as Hereford led 4-2 at the break.

Both of Haysham’s goals, coming in the 19th and 37th minutes, were excellent strikes.

Substitute Lance Smith earlier made it 3-2 to the Bulls in the 31st minute, just after ex-Hereford United player Stuart Fleetwood equalised for Redditch.

Before that, two goals in four minutes saw Hereford come from behind to lead 2-1.

Mills equalised from the penalty spot in the 15th minute and Haysham scored a cracking second four minutes later.

Another ex-Hereford United player Ashley Sammons opened the scoring for Redditch from the penalty spot in the eighth minute in front of 3,083 fans at Edgar Street.
