ROYAL Grammar School Worcester coach Sally Walton was cheered on by pupils as she won the National Super 6s Indoor Hockey trophy.
The former Great Britain Olympic bronze medallist and her team Bowdon Hightown won their 12th indoor title, defeating Leicester 2-1 at the Copper Box Arena, London.
Walton put the Greater Manchester side into an early lead before Charlene Mason hit the winner after Rachael Mack drew Leicester level.
Year 11 pupil Sophie Thompson, who captains the RGS side who were semi-finalists in the Super 6s Under 16 School Championships, enjoyed the occasion.
Thompson said: "It was a great trip where all of us were able to watch some high-level hockey and get involved by supporting Miss Walton.
"She played really well and we all enjoyed the chance to celebrate her team’s success."
