DEFENDING champions Worcestershire and Herefordshire have reshuffled their squad for the Iskitz Three Counties Championship match against Greater Birmingham at Birmingham Exiles’ Elmdon ground tonight (8pm).

W&H launched their title defence with a 22-18 victory over Shropshire at Worcester two weeks ago and will progress to the final if they beat Greater Birmingham in a re-match of last season’s finale.

The defending champions have again cast their net far and wide with 12 clubs represented in the match squad.

Ledbury fly-half George Bennion, Malvern centre Ben King, Bromsgrove full-back Bryn Williams and Redditch’s Sam Gladwin have been added to the backs with Evesham hooker Jamie Roberts and Kidderminster Carolians number eight Jess Smith joining the forwards.

The final group match between Shropshire and Greater Birmingham will be played at Telford Hornets on March 14 with the final between the top two teams at the end of the group stage being hosted by Ledbury on May 20.
