WORCESTER Raiders were disappointed with a 1-1 draw at lowly Wyrley in West Midlands League Division One.

They scored through a Paul Smith free-kick in the second half.

Bromyard Town slumped 5-2 at Tipton Town.

Malvern Town boosted their Premier Division top-two hopes with a 3-1 win at eighth-placed Cradley Town.

They went ahead in the 33rd minute when Josh Hunt headed Louis Loader’s cross past the keeper.

Malvern were made to pay for not extending their lead when Aaron Weston levelled on 41 minutes.

But the third-placed visitors regained the lead five minutes into the second period when Matt Turner turned home Sam Rathbone’s cross.

Loader extended the lead with a free-kick on the hour mark.

Pershore Town were no match for Midland League Division One runaway leaders Walsall Wood, going down 7-1 at home with Oliver Manoochehri grabbing the consolation goal.

Forward James Lemon scored twice as high-flying Droitwich Spa powered to a 4-1 home win over Bloxwich Town in Division Two.

Nick Seabourne also netted alongside an own goal from the visitors.

Inkberrow lost 2-0 to Redditch Borough in the Evesham Hospital Junior Cup.

They then fell 2-1 at Enville Athletic in Division Three on Monday with Teifion Thomas on target.

Liam Lockett bagged a brace as Worcester City lost 5-3 at Highgate United in the Under 21s West Division. Riley Keasey also netted.

Ben Tilbury hit two in HOW Academy’s 2-2 draw at Rushall Olympic.

Droitwich Spa BG won 2-1 at Brocton thanks to Callum Morris’ double.

In Wednesday’s fixtures, Westfields entertain Heanor Town in the Midland League Premier Division (7.45pm).

Inkberrow go to Alcester Town in Division Three (6.30pm).
