BROMSGROVE Rovers caretaker manager Steve Daniels has tipped striker Luke Benbow to be a star of the future.
Benbow marked his debut for the club with a goal in the 2-1 defeat against Arlesey Town last Saturday.
The 18-year-old is once again set to be in the line-up for Saturday's Zamaretto League Division One Midlands trip to Biggleswade Town (3pm).
Daniels believes Benbow has what it takes to play at a higher level, adding: “He is one of the best youngsters I have seen.”
The stand-in Victoria Ground boss hopes to name an unchanged team as Rovers, who have a clean bill of health, look to end a run of four straight defeats.
“We have lost four games but it’s a young squad and at the moment we can’t buy a win,” Daniels said.
“We weren’t at the races on Saturday but the atmosphere is magnificent, it’s 100 per cent better.”
Rovers remain in administration and are not certain to play at the Victoria Ground next season as their seven-year lease is due to expire in August.
New club Bromsgrove Sporting, formed by supporters, is interested in taking over the lease and Bromsgrove District Council have invited organisations to apply.
