Premier League brothers to attend opening

PREMIER League brothers Craig and Gary Gardner are due to attend the opening of Meadow Park’s new £360,000 sports pavilion near Bromsgrove tomorrow.

Craig and Gary, who play for Sunderland and Aston Villa respectively, will be in Stoke Prior for the launch which starts at 10.30am.

Park have arranged a lease on the site at LG Harris, Hanbury Road, for at least the next two decades.

They secured a £153,529 grant from the Football Foundation as well as contributions from the FA and Bromsgrove District Council, while the club raised £73,000 themselves.
