HEREFORD United travel to Ebbsfleet United tonight (7.45) chasing a place in the Blue Square Bet Premier top 10.

The Bulls returned to winning ways with a 3-2 home victory against Lincoln City last Saturday and are now 11th, breathing down the necks of Cambridge United.

Martin Foyle’s side have only been beaten once since the turn of the year and success against Ebbsfleet would be their third win in four matches.

Hereford are aiming for a hat-trick of victories over Ebbsfleet having defeated them 4-2 at Edgar Street back in August and also winning 1-0 in Kent in the FA Trophy first round in November when Josh O’Keefe was on target.

Striker Chris Sharp, who scored twice against the Imps last Saturday alongside a headed goal from central defender Stefan Stam, will be bidding to add to a record that has seen him score three times in as many games.

That victory also prompted the departure of Lincoln manager David Holdsworth, who has left the club by mutual consent.

Liam Daish’s Ebbsfleet followed up their 3-1 win over Gateshead with last Saturday’s 0-0 draw against Stockport, both at their Stonebridge Road home, but are still propping up the table.
