POPULAR Kidderminster Harriers midfielder Jack Byrne has ended a five-year stay at Aggborough to sign for Solihull Moors.
The 25-year-old turned down a new deal at Harriers in order to drop down a division and go part-time with the ambitious Moors in National League North.
He arrived at Kidderminster in 2010 from Redditch United and made 164 appearances, scoring 28 goals.
Byrne, who previously played for Solihull Borough as a teenager, was a regular in Harriers' starting line-up last season but his progress had previously been hampered by injuries.
Former Harriers keeper Danny Lewis, midfielder Callum Gittings and forward Akwasi Asante had already signed for Moors.
