FOUR under 18s girls from Worcester Rugby Club played in the National School Games at Loughborough University for England-Midlands.
Zoe Warrington, Meg Varley, Laura Thomas and Deanna Clarke were all involved.
The team went down 31-21 in the seven-a-side tournament to England-South West before beating England-North 17-12.
The final pool game against a tough combined Ireland team was lost 38-0.
In a play-off game later on the first day England-Midlands fell to Wales 26-17 and then to another strong team from England-South East 31-17.
This put England-Midlands in the lower half of the teams for the second day playing for the Bowl.
But they beat Scotland and drew with England-North 12-12 to win the silverware.
Injuries reduced their squad from 12 to eight at times but the girls battled on.
