WORCESTER'S bowlers finished their season by retaining the Central Stairlift Trophy 6-0 against Chester Road at Hewell.
Due to other commitments the Kidderminster side had several experienced players missing.
On rinks four to six after Worcester gained 18-10, 20-11 and 28-9 victories the match was concluded on the 17th end.
The city led on rinks one and two 22-16 and 17-4 and the final triple was conceded on the 14th end after Marc Stones' trio picked up two successive threes and a six.
Leading the way for Worcester was Rob Dawson’s trio who won by 19.
After a tight first half Dean Hemming’s triple triumphed by nine shots.
Rob McCaughtrie’s trio fought back and finished victors by eight.
Andy Walters' trio won by six and Rob Stanley’s triple hit back to lead by three.
