THERE was a major shock in the quarter-finals of the McDonald’s Worcester and District Football League's Baylis Cup where Premier Division basement boys FC Malvern beat The Gloster Arms 2-1.

Jack Parker and Jack Shemwell were on target for Malvern, with Matt Brookes replying for the Gloster.

A giant-killing act was on the cards at St Johns where the Division One title challengers were holding cup favourites Callow End to a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes.

However the Saints ran out of steam in extra-time as the visitors took control to win 5-1. Matt Andrews (2), Ash Millard, Adam Webb and Joe Wood were the Callow End scorers.

Hallow also needed extra-time before going through 5-2 against Upton Snodsbury after a 2-2 scoreline in normal time.

Kyle Belmonte hit a hat-trick for Hallow with Ben Harbourne and Zaq Hussain also on the score sheet. Chris Allen and Ryan Pugh netted for Upton.

Perrywood completed the semi-final line–up with a 3-1 win at New Inn Athletic courtesy of a double from Gavin Podmore.

The Wood will play FC Malvern for a place in the final with fierce rivals Hallow and Callow End contesting the other semi-final.

The quarter-finals of the Southam Trophy saw Callum Morris firing a hat-trick for Lower Teme & Martley who beat Arrow 4-1. Worcester Athletic strolled through 5-1 at Northwick Saints, with Macauley Austin notching a double.

Hornets had a surprise 2-1 victory over high flying Eaton with Jacob Whittall netting both their goals.

FC Korono are the other semi-finalists after a 4-1 win at Colwall St James, with strikes from Jack Hancock, Tom Groves, Joe Wood and Charlie Hooman.

Mike Cox and Lewis Barson gave Fernhill Heath Athletic a 2-0 win against The Bell in the Katherine Rayer Cup and they will meet Drakes Broughton Rangers in the semi-finals.

In the Kilbourne Kay Cup quarter-finals, Luke Bailey, Joe Dallow and Daniel Hunt struck as Malvern Vale defeated Powick 3-1. Pershore Town Eagles had a narrow 2-1 win over Warndon Villages with goals from Aaron Northall and Luke O’Sullivan.

Matt McClatchy and Dan Harris gave Worcester City Wanderers a 2-1 extra-time victory at Kempsey Colts United.

In the league, Division Three title contenders Express Falcons romped home 9-1 at Brewers Saints.

Brad Morton cracked a treble and Josh Benson-Smith a double.

Masons kept up their challenge with a 5-1 success at GDL Athletic thanks to a hat-trick from Josh Bowen.

Colwall Wanderers are the new Division Four leaders after a comprehensive 7-2 win at Worcester Saints. Ben Miller hit a hat-trick with Lewis Williams adding a brace.

Elsewhere strikes from Tom Coultas-Morton and Ben Ladds saw Drakes Broughton Rangers Reserves beat Malvern Radar Youth 2-1. Lower Teme & Martley Reserves won 3-1 at New Inn Sports (Malvern), with James Francis, Ollie Eggleton and Dan Juckes on the scoresheet.
