TREVOR Willis will be looking to defend his title when the MSA British Hill Climb Championship comes to Prescott Hill Climb this weekend.

The Worcester driver clinched top spot at this venue in September with his V8-powered OMS 28 single seater racing car.

But he is expecting a “very close” and “competitive” season as a capacity entry gear up for the first major event of the year.

“The car ran faultlessly last year and I had a great team of helpers to support me, so I hope it is more of the same for this season,” Willis said.

“This week it was just a matter of getting it out of the garage, giving it a quick wash and sticking the number ‘1’ on it.

“Prescott is a fantastic venue for competitors and spectators alike.

“Hosts Bugatti Owners’ Club make us most welcome, so with most of the top ten drivers competing people are really excited to get going once again.

“There are also some with greatly enhanced cars for this year, so it promises to be a very close and competitive season.”
