WORCESTER'S Rich Gardner has become Worcestershire's highest-level active referee.

Gardner has been promoted to level 2B while Kidderminster's Ollie Williams will be a Football League assistant referee.

Redditch's Andy Genders has moved up to level three with four achieved by James Claytor (Worcester), Ryan Price (Hagley) and Paul Sparrow (Evesham).

Dan Ellis (Bromsgrove), James Green (Worcester), Garrath Hodgetts (Worcester), Craig Penney (Worcester) and Jack Rose (Kidderminster) are up to five.

Vladimir Aleksandrov (Evesham), Glenn Turner (Bromsgrove) and Jack Whatmore (Kidderminster) go up to six.

Last season Williams was an assistant referee for the National League play-off final at Wembley between Tranmere Rovers and Boreham Wood.

Darren Wilding refereed the Southern League Championship Match between Taunton Town and Beaconsfield Town.

And Gardner took charge of the Northern Premier League Division One (South) play-off final between Bedworth United and Stamford with Lewis Mansfield-King an assistant.
