EVESHAM United’s signing of striker Ben Pugh is set to be probed by a Worcestershire FA commission.
Pugh joined the Robins from Nuneaton Town last month but they accused Evesham of an illegal approach.
The St George’s Lane tenants were later charged with the offence and the case is now set to be heard at county headquarters next week.
Evesham have submitted evidence rejecting Nuneaton’s claim which the club believe proves they acted correctly by making a seven-day approach to secure the player’s signature.
Meanwhile, the Robins’ home game with Hemel Hempstead Town has been put back 24 hours to Sunday, February 26 (3pm).
The Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division game at St George’s Lane clashed with Worcester City’s game against Blyth Spartans on Saturday, February 25.
