A GOALKEEPER has been handed a three-match ban by Worcestershire Football Association after being found guilty of improper and violent conduct.
Worcester Rangers player Joe Spencer was given the suspension and a £75 fine following the incident against Tenbury Colts in Worcester and District League Saturday Division Two last month.
Police are also investigating the incident at St Michael’s College, Tenbury, on Saturday, April 14.
It happened after the match had been abandoned on 83 minutes by referee Neil Jeynes because Colts player-manager James Turrell took his players off the pitch “fearing for their safety” following earlier alleged flare-ups.
Rangers had already told the league they would not be fielding a team in the competition next season.
