Worcestershire Beacon Race ahead

WORCESTER Athletic Club are promoting the demanding Worcestershire Beacon Race tomorrow.

The all-terrain challenge over the Malvern Hills begins at 3pm at Rose Bank Gardens with numbers competing limited to 350.

Runners will tackle around seven miles of steep ascents and descents on sometimes unstable surfaces, reaching a maximum height of 1,395ft.

Entries will be taken on the day up to 2pm.
