Jrue Holiday was in inspiring form as the New Orleans Pelicans held on to beat the Portland Trail Blazers 111-102 and take their Western Conference series to 2-0.

The sides were tied on 97 with 3.43 left of the fourth quarter, but Holiday put them ahead 105-100 with just over a minute before the buzzer.

Holiday scored a career playoff high 33 points – with 12 coming in the fourth quarter – and finished the games with nine assists, while Anthony Davis added 22 and took 13 rebounds and Rajon Rondo scored 16, had 10 rebounds and nine assists.

CJ McCollum top scored with 22 points and contributed six assists for the Trail Blazers.

The Boston Celtics doubled their playoff series lead over the Milwaukee Bucks with a 120-106 win that saw Jaylen Brown score 30 and take five rebounds.

At 21, Brown was the youngest Celtics player to score 30 or more points in a playoff game, helping Boston to a 2-0 advantage over Milwaukee.

Terry Rozier added 23 points and eight assists for Boston, while for the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 30, with nine rebounds and eight assists.

Earlier, the Toronto Raptors extended their series lead to 2-0 over the Washington Wizards, beating them 130-119.
