The Golden State Warriors claimed victory in game three of the Western Conference finals with a 126-85 thrashing of the Houston Rockets.

Steph Curry scored 26 of his 35 points in the second half, with five three-pointers in total, to lead the Warriors to a 2-1 series lead.

It was not until the second half that the Warriors really came alive, Curry making 18 points on seven-for-seven shooting in the third quarter at the Oracle Arena.

Draymond Green also impressed with 10 points, 17 rebounds and six assists, while Kevin Durrant added 25 points, six rebound and six assists as the Warriors charged to the 41-point win – the largest in franchise history in the post-season.

James Harden scored 20 points and Chris Paul added 13 points for the Rockets, but the Warriors’ late rally proved too much as they laid claim to their 16th straight home game win of the post-season – overtaking the NBA record previously set by the Chicago Bulls in 1991.
