DARYL Mitchell has climbed above legend Tom Graveney in the all-time list of Worcestershire’s century-makers.
The opener completed his 28th first-class hundred for the club in last week's win against Gloucestershire.
Mitchell’s fifth ton of the season lifted him ahead of Graveney.
He is joint 12th in the list of century-makers alongside two other former captains in Phil Neale and Harry Foster.
But 33-year-old Mitchell, who has three more years to run of his contract, could move past several other distinguished names in the near future.
Ron Headley and Tom Moody (32), Basil D’Oliveira and Alan Ormrod (31) and Vikram Solanki (29) are all realistic targets.
