WORCESTERSHIRE director of cricket Steve Rhodes has named a 12-man squad for the final LV= County Championship match of the season against Middlesex at New Road today.
Rhodes has kept faith with the 11 players who pushed Durham all the way at the ICG Emiratres before going down by three wickets — plus paceman Charlie Morris.
West Indies fast bowler Shannon Gabriel is in contention to make his home debut in the second match of his short spell.
Batsman Alex Gidman is ruled out with the broken finger suffered in fielding practice on the day before the Durham encounter.
Worcestershire will be looking to chalk up their third home Division One win of the campaign, the previous two were against Somerset and Hampshire.
Tom Fell needs 87 more runs to reach 1,000 in the LV = CC for the season and Morris six more wickets to reach the 50 mark for the second season running.
Worcestershire (from): Mitchell, D’Oliveira, Fell, Clarke, Kohler-Cadmore, Whiteley, Cox, Barnard, Leach, Shantry, Gabriel, Morris.
