BRETT D'Oliveira is top of Worcestershire's first-class batting averages after his sparkling start to the 2016 campaign.

D'Oliveira is averaging 99.80 from his four appearances this season.

He needs one more run to top the 500 mark after notching two centuries and a double hundred in his six first class knocks to date.

Moeen Ali again showed his worth during his three game spell with the County before resuming England duties.

He hit a hundred and two fifties in his four knocks to average 91.00.

Joe Clarke has also launched the campaign in tremendous fashion with three centuries in just five innings.

On the bowling front, all-rounders Ed Barnard and Joe Leach are leading the way with 11 wickets apiece in first class games.

Barnard has spent the winter working on his strengthening and conditioning and striving for extra pace and he was handed the new ball in place of the rested Matt Henry for the Specsavers County Championship clash with Glamorgan at Cardiff.

Leach has also showed signs of reproducing the form which brought him 59 County Championship wickets last season and bowled an impressive new ball spell at the Swalec Stadium.
