OLLIE Westbury scored a second successive hundred for Worcestershire Seconds who overcame MCC Young Cricketers at Kidderminster to maintain their 100 per cent record in the Trophy competition.

Westbury had scored 143 on the same ground in his previous innings for the Seconds in the Trophy against Derbyshire.

And the England Under-19 opener - who last week signed a new contract at New Road - followed that up by notching exactly 100 after the Seconds had elected to bat.

He hit two sixes and 12 fours in his 117 balls knock before being fourth out at 247.

Westbury shared in stands of 57 with George Rhodes (33), 136 with Tom Fell (62) and 52 with Alexei Kervezee (38).

Fell hit eight boundaries in his 59 ball knock after being left out of the senior side for the Royal London One-Day Cup match against Lancashire Lightning at Old Trafford today.

Alex Hepburn then hit a run a ball unbeaten 30 to steer the Seconds to 327-6 from their 50 overs.

MCC made a quickfire start with openers Ben Curran - brother of Tom and Sam Curran - and Saf Imtiaz putting on 71 in 10 overs.

But spinners Rhodes - 3-54 in 10 overs - and Zen Malik - 3-43 in 10 overs - pegged back the scoring rate.

Curran was sixth out at 186 for 86 off 88 balls with two sixes and nine fours as MCC closed on 284-9.

Victory cemented the Seconds position at the top of the North Group.
