ALEX Hepburn has been included in the Worcestershire Rapids squad for tomorrow's NatWest T20 Blast clash with Leicestershire Foxes at New Road (5.30pm).

The all-rounder has enjoyed some impressive performances for the seconds in recent weeks.

He has scored nearly 600 Second XI Championship runs including 98 and 76 not out in last week's win over Leicestershire.

Hepburn has been captaining the seconds in Championship cricket since George Rhodes was promoted to the first XI and they currently head the table.

He is part of a 13-man squad named by director of cricket Steve Rhodes and added to the other group of players selected for the opening T20 Blast match against Birmingham Bears which ended in an eight-wicket defeat at New Road.

Rapids will be looking to bounce back from the setback against their local rivals but Foxes pulled off a shock three-wicket win at Lancashire Lightning in their opener.

Rapids batsman Joe Clarke, who opened against Bears, said: "We were disappointed last Friday and Leicestershire will be coming here off the back of a win as well.

"But we are a good T20 side and hopefully will get up and running and get a win."

Rapids from: Mitchell, Clarke, Leach, D'Oliveira, Santner, Cox, Whiteley, Hastings, Barnard, Rhodes, Shantry, Tongue, Hepburn.
