WORCESTERSHIRE have revised their pre-season match programme because of the adverse weather conditions in the south-west.
The County had been due to play Somerset in a two-day game at the main County Ground in Taunton on Thursday and Friday.
Thursday has now been cancelled and instead a one-day game of red-ball cricket will be held at the same venue on Friday.
Worcestershire’s three days of cricket against Gloucestershire at Bristol next week have also been amended.
The two counties were originally scheduled to meet on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
But the action will now get under way 24 hours later on the Tuesday with a 50-over game.
A two-day match of red-ball cricket will take place on the Wednesday and Thursday.
Worcestershire complete their pre-season match programme with a first-class fixture against Leeds-Bradford MCCU at Royal Grammar School Worcester from April 1 until 3.
The players and coaching staff have returned from an 11-day training camp in Abu Dhabi.
