WORCESTERSHIRE Rapids will take on Kent Spitfires in Sunday’s Royal London One-Day Cup semi-final at Blackfinch New Road (11am).

Spitfires overpowered holders Notts Outlaws by nine wickets at Trent Bridge in today’s play-off match.

It will mean a reunion for Rapids with New Zealand paceman Matt Henry who spent the first half of the 2016 season at New Road.

Notts, who finished runners-up in the North Group to Rapids, were reduced to 23-4 but recovered to 255-8.

Steven Mullaney hit 90 and he was aided by Billy Root (41) and Luke Fletcher (53 not out).

But Spitfires reached their target in 35.5 overs for the loss of Daniel Bell-Drummond who put on 194 for the first wicket with Heino Kuhn.

Kuhn finished unbeaten on 124 from 114 balls and Joe Denly 52 not out.
