JACOB Rowe is targeting back-to-back victories for Worcester City when they host Vauxhall Motors today (3pm).

City put the disappointment of losing to Histon behind them by winning 2-0 at Droylsden last Tuesday with goals from Danny Glover and Michael Taylor.

Rowe says that has reaffirmed their belief in their ability and he is looking for them to replicate that success at St George’s Lane.

The central defender, playing right-back in the absence of Tyler Weir, said: “It was good to get back to winning ways after the disappointment of losing to Histon.

“We need to take that into the match against Vauxhall Motors which is another winnable game at home. We need to carry on doing the right things and hopefully get another three points.

“Tuesday was a confidence booster. Getting into those promotion places is our aim and it just reminds you that we are good enough to go and do it.”
