SEAN Geddes doesn’t score ordinary goals.

The Worcester City forward has produced a catalogue of sumptuous strikes this season and he added two more to his collection against Solihull Moors.

First, he executed an exquisite 25-yard free-kick past the dive of Tony Breeden and in-off the far post to draw City level in Conference North.

Then, from eight minutes from time, he curled the ball over the wall towards the opposite corner and Breeden fumbled it into the net.

Two strikes that demonstrated the quality Geddes has as he took his tally to the season to 15.

In doing so, he completed the City comeback after the visitors trailed to Ryan Beswick’s 39th-minute opener.

But there was still time for substitute Micah Evans and Daniel Nti to wrap victory up in style with a goal apiece in injury-time.

City ended up winning by the same margin with which Solihull had triumphed at Aggborough last month.

This performance was a far cry from that Tuesday night under the Kidderminster lights, however, as they produced one of their best displays of the campaign.

Presented with a pitch that didn’t betray the ability of the players, it was no coincidence that City’s passing game was allowed to flourish in the manner not seen for periods this winter.

While it took until the closing stages for them to break Solihull down in open play, City moved the ball confidently and attacked quickly, particularly in the second-half.

Before his equaliser, Geddes stung the palms of Breeden and also rattled the crossbar with a dipping long-range drive.

But the visitors were equally indebted to the significant skills of keeper Ryan Boot, who ensured they were still in the game by the time Geddes took centre stage.

The on-loan Port Vale 20-year-old produced an excellent double save to first block Omar Bogle’s effort and then smother the rebound from Darryl Knights.

Beswick was also denied a second by Boot’s fine reflexes, having his header pushed past the post, while Stefan Moore nodded straight at City’s number one.

But Worcester were reeling after seeing popular midfielder Danny Jackman leave the field on a stretcher with an ankle injury, adding to the list of players unavailable to manager Carl Heeley.

However, seven minutes later Geddes struck his first blow before doing likewise in the 82nd minute to put the visitors ahead.

Evans, on for Tristian Dunkley, made it three when he beat the hapless Breeden to the ball outside the penalty area before rolling it into an unguarded net.

Virtually from the restart, Nti found himself in space down the left and he slid the ball neatly into the far corner for number four.
