WORCESTER City have frozen entry and season ticket prices for a second successive season in a bid to attract more fans to Aggborough.

The Blue and Whites, preparing for a third season at Kidderminster Harriers following their departure from St George’s Lane, have opted to keep prices the same despite a poll of fans in favour of a rise.

Directors also hope the potential for a decision before 2015-16 on the Perdiswell stadium planning application will help swell support.

Entry to sit or stand at Aggborough remains £13 and £9 for adults and concessions respectively with under 21s paying £6 and under 16s £3.

The club aim to sell more than 400 season tickets and are offering a 15 per cent reduction for fans buying them before June 30.

An adult taking up that option will pay £210, while it is £150 for concessions, £100 for under 21s and £20 for under 16s.

City have kept the 10-game ticket but increased the price by £10 for adults to £110 in the hope more will buy full season tickets.

Director Mike Davis said: “The support the club have had since moving from St George’s Lane is remarkable.

“Show your support, helping us to keep our finances buoyant will put the club in good shape ready for our return to Worcester.”

In addition, the Conference North club, who visit Bradford Park Avenue today (3pm), have introduced a family season ticket for £220.

Season-ticket holders will also be able to buy a return rail ticket from Worcester to Kidderminster on matchdays for £3.50 as well as take advantage of reduced car parking fees.

Getting to matches has been an issue for fans, particularly in midweek, and the club have been trialling a coach travel scheme following a positive response from fans.

Season tickets will be on sale at the final match of the season against Colwyn Bay at Aggborough next Saturday, as well as at the tourist information centre at the Guildhall and Knowles Sports in Broad Street.
