Worcester City (4-4-2)
6 Ross – did not have a meaningful save to make but bounced back with a clean sheet after facing criticism from City boss Carl Heeley last weekend.
7 Gallinagh – handed the captain’s armband, the stand-in skipper was vocal from the first whistle as he tried to galvanise his team-mates and his experience shone through.
7 Hutchison – making his 17th successive start, the Scot defended superbly as FC United were reduced to shots from range.
8 J Keane – due to injuries and suspensions, the versatile player slotted in at centre-back and hardly put a foot wrong in a committed performance.
7 Weir – worked his socks off and was prepared to put his head where it hurt as he was kicked in the face in the closing stages.
6 Steele – was unlucky not to give City the lead when his 20-yard strike hit the post but was guilty of missing an even better chance moments earlier.
7 English – an improved display from the midfielder who threw himself into challenges and kept pressuring FC United’s players.
8 DIGIE – a superb debut from the loanee as he tackled well, showed great footwork and injected much-needed energy into the side. My man of the match.
7 C Keane – earned City a penalty when he burst into the box and continually caused FC United problems, sending in several good crosses.
6 Murphy – returning to the starting line-up, the forward made a strong start but sometimes his touch evaded him.
5 Craig – it was not the striker’s day as he was caught offside on several occasions and failed to convert a second-half penalty which cost City victory.
