Worcester City (4-4-2)

7 Vaughan – was a commanding presence as he organised his back four brilliantly and got down well to save Darren McKnight’s powerful shot.

7 Gallinagh – apart from a terrible back-pass which Andy Bishop almost pounced on the full-back stopped any threat down his flank.

8 HUTCHISON – a no-nonsense display from the centre-back who headed and hacked clear anything that came his way. My man of the match.

8 Chambers – moving into central defence the 36-year-old rarely put a foot wrong and showed composure when he got on the ball.

6 Weir – struggled to keep full-back Danny Morton quiet as he was Stalybridge’s biggest threat but dug in towards the end to secure the clean sheet.

6 C Keane – making a rare outing on the right-hand side the left-footed player gave his all but was guilty of making a few mistakes.

7 Jackman – a strong 80-minute shift from the captain who scrapped and battled hard in midfield before making way for Tom Rose.

7 J Keane – cemented his place further in City’s midfield with another assured performance, making several important tackles.

8 Nelson-Addy – gave Worcester energy with lung-busting runs and did not forget his defensive duties either, making a vital challenge to thwart Morton.

6 English – worked tirelessly as always but gave away one too many free-kicks before being forced off with a hamstring injury in the second half.

7 Murphy – his goals could prove crucial for City as he confidently dispatched his fourth in five games to end his side’s 18-match winless run.
