WORCESTER City boys' under 13s are enjoying the season of their lives.

The ESF Butlin’s Minehead tournament champions won the NERF Junior Premier League Area Division Four title to go into the top six play-off in Wiltshire.

City won their group in Calne, triumphing 3-0 and 2-0 against Wells and Omer from the Channel Islands respectively to make the final.

They faced local rivals Stourbridge who topped their group by beating Aylestone and Cirencester Town.

Worcester went ahead only to go 2-1 down with 10 minutes to go.

But City equalised and then dominated with the keeper stopping an array of shots.

The final ended 2-2 and went to penalties with Worcester scoring all theirs with pin-point accuracy into the corner of the net.

Stourbridge missed two as City won 4-3 to become JPL victors.

Worcester will compete in the Aces tournament on June 18 and St Georges ESF European competition on July 8.
