WORCESTER City have captured their first defender of the summer with the signing of ex-Aston Villa trainee Aaron Griffiths.
The 27-year-old full-back has plenty of experience in non-league football having made more than 200 appearances for Halesowen Town.
Starting his career as a youth team player at Villa, he joined Halesowen before going on to play for Kidderminster Harriers and Stourbridge.
Kidderminster-born Griffiths returned to Halesowen in 2012 and won the goal of the season award in the 2015/16 campaign.
He is also no stranger to the Midland League Premier Division having played for Lye Town last season, helping them to a fourth-placed finish.
City have already recruited Brad Birch, Nathan Hayward, Matt Birley and Josh Harris-James.
Griffiths said: "I am delighted to have the opportunity to play for Worcester City and I cannot wait to get the ball rolling and start working hard and doing my best for the club.”
