PARKING has been made available away from the ground for tomorrow night’s pre-season friendly between Worcester Raiders and Worcester City (7.15pm).

Tickets for the game at Claines Lane can be bought only on the gate on the evening.

There will be refreshments for sale at the ground which will close at 10pm.

There is no supporter parking available at the venue apart from for fans with disabled parking badges.

But there is parking at the Porcelain Ground, Droitwich Road, and the nearby Wyevale Garden Centre.

It will be available from one hour before kick-off until 10pm costing £2 per car.

But fans are being encouraged to take the bus, walk or cycle to the match and there is no parking allowed on Claines Lane.

Cyclists can secure their bikes at the ground in a designated area behind the tennis courts.

A Worcestershire FA spokesman said: “It will be great to see two Worcester teams battling it out on the football pitch.

“Seeing City play back in their home town is something the club and supporters have wanted to see for some considerable time and we are sure it will be a good evening for everyone who attends.

“Thanks to Raiders for their efforts. We hope many supporters of both teams enjoy the fixture and spectators from both sides respect the efforts both clubs have made to ensure this fixture is played.

“The best of luck to both Raiders and City.”
