HOSTS Evesham United beat Worcester City 3-1 on penalties to book a Worcestershire FA Senior Cup final date with Kidderminster Harriers.

The sides will meet at the Jubilee Stadium on Tuesday (7.45pm) to contest county honours.

The Robins and City drew 1-1 after 90 minutes of the semi-final with forward Adam Mann firing the Southern League Division One South and West side ahead on 11 minutes.

City keeper Matt Gwynne kept the Midland League Premier Division outfit in the game with a string of fine saves.

The visitors introduced new signing Mark Danks up front in an end-to-end second period but the 53rd-minute equaliser was delivered by a header from an unnamed trialist.

Dave Reynolds forced a good save and Evesham went close when they hit the bar while another effort was cleared off the line.

In the penalty shoot-out Reynolds' effort was saved while Danks and Aaron Griffiths hit the woodwork with Matt Birley the only successful player for Worcester from the spot.
