WORCESTER City have signed centre-half Tom Fishwick from Midland League Premier Division rivals Coleshill Town.
The 20-year-old’s arrival further strengthens the Blue and Whites’ defensive options for the new season having recruited Mark Smith, Alexandru Albert and Shab Khan.
Fishwick came through the youth ranks at Leamington before going on to have spells at Redditch United, Racing Club Warwick, Banbury United, Evesham United, Littleton and Rugby Town.
The 6ft 5in defender joined Coleshill last season and made 30 appearances, helping the club finish second in the league and reach the semi-finals of the FA Vase.
City said a seven-day request was issued by the club to Coleshill in order for discussions to take place.
The club added Coleshill waived the seven days so they were able to talk to Fishwick.
Worcester travel to Daventry Town in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup on Saturday (3pm).
