WORCESTER City are the next opponents for Coventry United tomorrow (3pm) after they romped to a 4-1 win at Westfields in the Midland League Premier Division.

Coventry and Worcester both have three wins and are protecting 100 per cent league records.

But the trip to Butts Park Arena is a sign of the times for cash-strapped Worcester who only three years ago beat Coventry City 2-1 at the Ricoh Arena in the FA Cup first round.

And United will be strong opposition after romping to victory at Fields in front of 151 fans thanks to Lewis Rankin, Mitch Piggon, former Kidderminster Harriers forward Craig Reid and Aaron Opoku.

Craig Jones pulled a goal back for the Hereford side.

There was no joy for Worcestershire sides in the division as Bromsgrove Sporting were also sent to Coventry in a 2-0 defeat at the city's Sphinx club.

Matt Fulloway levelled but Rocester went on to beat visitors Stourport Swifts 2-1 watched by just 66 people.

Littleton lost 2-1 at Brocton in Division One with Joe Adams on target.

Droitwich Spa went down 3-1 at home to Northfield Town in Division Two as James Lemon scored.

Inkberrow crashed 5-1 at FC Stratford in Division Three with Tom Clewes the scorer.

Malvern Town kept up their stunning start in the West Midlands League Premier Division with a 4-0 beating of visitors AFC Bridgnorth.

Matt Turner (2), Shaun Smith and Kyonn Evans netted.

There were Division One defeats for Worcester Raiders and Bromyard Town at Allscott 3-1 and Telford Juniors 2-1 respectively.

Matt Andrews scored for Raiders in their first league defeat of the season.
