JOINT-boss John Snape hopes to have Worcester City “ambassador” Shabir Khan back from injury over the Christmas period.
The defender took in last weekend’s 2-0 win over Haughmond while continuing his battle with persistent knee trouble.
“Shab came to the game on Saturday and from what was said, he hopes to back in training over the next couple of weeks,” said Snape.
“His presence has been missed. He is an ambassador for the club and this has been a tough time for him, dealing with the disappointment of his injury situation.
“He has been keeping himself ticking over in the gym and we hope to see him back for the programme of Christmas fixtures.”
