WORCESTER City will receive a 20 per cent cut of the transfer fee following Ellis Deeney’s move from Tamworth to AFC Telford United.
The 26-year-old, brother of Watford striker Troy Deeney, switched from City to the Lambs for a nominal fee that came with a sell-on clause in January 2016.

Deeney, captain at the time he left City, rejected the overtures of Darlington to link up with National North rivals Telford, a club that publicised in July its intention to go full-time over the next two years.
The fee is undisclosed but it is understood Worcester could pick up a four-figure yield from the deal.
