LEADING scorer Dave Reynolds is likely to return for Worcester City at Stourport Swifts tomorrow (7.45).

The 25-goal hitman missed Saturday’s trip to Boldmere having previously driven back from a break in Devon to feature against Rugby and Bromsgrove Sporting.

“He had a knee problem anyway, he would have been willing to travel back for the Boldmere game as he did before but was rested as a precaution,” said boss John Snape.

“We hope that has done him some good and he will be fit for Stourport.

“We are carrying a few knocks and bruises but if anyone does miss out, it will give others a chance to shine.”

Swifts have a torturous run-in having lost so many matches to the weather with Snape hoping to see City boosted by a bumper following.

“It is always nice to play a derby, it is an occasion you look forward to,” he added.

“I hope we continue to get the support we had on Saturday and against Bromsgrove because the backing has been fantastic.

“There was no moaning or groaning. The fans seemed to enjoy the games if not the results and got right behind us.

“We were hurt by the Bromsgrove defeat and expected to bounce back on Saturday.

"Now, it is all about Stourport and making sure we return to winning ways as soon as possible.”
