BRIAN Lancaster has retired from Worcester City Football Club's board of directors.
He announced his intention to the board a couple of months ago that he would retire at the end of last month.
The severe difficulties of the club in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s led to Lancaster firstly being appointed company secretary and eventually a director of the club.
The City board say they would like to thank Lancaster, who remains as company secretary, for his dedication and energy in his endeavours for the club.
He will continue to do all he can to support the current board and will also continue to advise as a member of the ground relocation committee.
