WORCESTER City manager Richard Dryden has called on his players to string a series of wins together after their impressive 2-0 victory at Bromley.

Having only picked up one point in their previous three matches, the St George’s Lane outfit burst out of the blocks in Kent to secure three valuable Blue Square South points.

Leading scorer Marco Adaggio bagged his fourth of the season after just 21 seconds at Hayes Lane.

Then a stunning 20-yard strike from under-pressure skipper Craig Wilding in the fourth minute ensured the victory.

City could have made the win even more comfortable but a series of knocks and fatigue from the blistering heat in Bromley meant Dryden’s men took their foot off the gas in the second half and protected the two-goal lead.

The win at Hayes Lane means Worcester are still unbeaten on the road despite losing their last two home matches.

“It’s now up to the players to see if we can do it two or three games on the bounce,” Dryden said.

“We did it in the first week and are away from home again on Tuesday at Basingstoke. At the moment, we might be better off going away.

“We have now got a lot of pace in the side and if people want us to go over the top of them, we will do it.

“If they want us to drop deep, we have got the players who can link up and attack them.

“It’s now a case of doing it week in, week out.”
