WORCESTER City manager Richard Dryden is expected to run the rule over Dominic Langdon at training tomorrow night.

The left-back was part of Tamworth’s Blue Square North title-winning side last season but he has yet to feature this term as he continues his rehabilitation from a broken foot.

The 20-year-old is on non-contract terms with the Lambs and has been playing for Atherstone Town in Zamaretto League Division One Midlands in a bid to regain full fitness.

The City chief would have seen Langdon play for the Adders against Burnham on Tuesday, November 10, when he went to scout the Blues ahead of last Saturday’s FA Trophy clash.

Dryden is keen to fill the void created by Shabir Khan’s call-up to the Pakistan national team for the South Asia Federations Cup in Bangladesh.

Last season’s player-of-the-year is away for a month leaving forward Alfie Carter to plug the gap.

Dryden also has to make his mind up over whether to keep on-loan striker Marvin Brown after this weekend.

The Weston-super-Mare forward is due to depart St George’s Lane after Saturday’s Blue Square South home clash with Bishop’s Stortford.

The former Bristol City striker has not made a huge impact during his month with the club, but Dryden says he is still undecided whether to retain his services.

The City boss said: “Marvin probably hasn’t played as much as he or I would have liked.

“But what he has done while he has been here is give Marco Adaggio and Matt Dinsmore a bit of a kick up the back-side.

“I haven’t decided whether to try and keep him here or not yet, but it has been nice to have the cushion of some decent strikers.”
