MANAGER Carl Heeley praised the commitment of his side after Worcester City secured a point at Solihull Moors.
Despite being low on quality, the 0-0 draw at Damson Park was City’s second clean sheet in three Blue Square Bet North matches.
“I can’t fault the boys’ commitment, it was blustery and the wind was blowing straight into our faces in the second-half,” Heeley said.
“I thought the back four and (keeper) Matt Sargeant were a good solid unit and everybody else gave everything they had. It’s a good point.
“It’s not been the happiest of hunting grounds in the past and we’ve kept another good clean sheet.
“But we didn’t do enough in the last third attacking-wise to win the game so it’s probably the right result.
“When we were conceding three and four, it was quite frustrating so we changed it around a bit. There were three 21-year-olds in the back four and they looked solid and defended everso well.”
He added: “It was difficult to get our wide men into the game but we are going through a barren spell at the moment.
“We are not finding the net as frequently as we would like but the next best thing is you don’t get beaten and we haven’t.”
