New trust proposals

PATIENTS in the High Wycombe area are being consulted on whether they back a proposal to form a Primary Care Trust.
The role of a PCT is to ensure local people receive high quality healthcare by bringing together primary and community health services into one decision-making organisation.
The creation of a PCT was proposed by Wycombe Area Primary Care Group and associated services teams at South Buckinghamshire NHS Trust.
A series of public meetings are being held to explain the proposals. The next one is at the King's Centre, Desborough Road, High Wycombe, at 7pm on Monday.
