WORCESTER City's Blue Square Bet North match at Boston United tomorrow has been postponed because of a frozen pitch.

Local referee Stephen Ross had no hesitation in calling off the match following a pitch inspection this afternoon.

Sections of the playing surface at The Jakemans Stadium are frozen underneath a thick layer of snow — which would have been removed on Saturday morning if frost had not prevented the game going ahead.

The match will now take place on Tuesday March 27 (kick-off 7.45pm).
